Ski Area: A classic spot for national freeriding, with numerous options for skiers who want to mix resort skiing with backcountry touring. Relatively simple and short ascent routes make it a good choice for learning the discipline. The altitude and orientation of the area keep the snow relatively good throughout most of the season. The issue here is the cost of lift tickets to avoid lengthy walks; hopefully, La Parva will offer a rando pass for randonneurs this year.
